Mashroo3k Funding Agencies Al-Awael Microfinance Company “Taiz”

Al-Awael was established as a program in May 2000 based on a study conducted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). By 2004, the program had become a fully-fledged company with a board of directors and a board of shareholders, and was then officially incorporated.

  • Individual loans for men and women.
  • Group loans (for women only).
  • Small business start-up loans.

  • The applicant must be a Yemeni national.
  • Be over 18 years old.
  • Reside within the Taiz Governorate and its districts.
  • Possess an ID or proof of identity.
  • Not borrow from another financing program.
