
In May 2000, the Hadramout Microfinance Program was established with the aim of assisting small and micro-enterprise owners and providing them with financial services, with the hope of improving living standards and promoting economic growth in the country. The program not only provides financial services but also offers the technical advice necessary for the success of projects, in addition to other services such as insurance and savings.

The program offers a range of products aimed at raising income levels, combating consumerism, and enhancing the productive efficiency of target groups. Its most important products include:
Individual loans.
Seasonal loans.
Group loans (specifically for women).
